National Equal Pay Day is April 10, 2018. According the American Association of University Women, Equal Pay Day is chosen each year based on the day in which women’s earning “catch up” to men’s earnings from the previous year. Women in Arkansas earn approximately 80% compared to men.
For National Equal Pay Day three Little Rock businesses are helping us spread the word about the gender pay gap by charging women 80% of the cost of items (or, 20% off!).
So, ladies, pick your vice–wine, beer, or coffee–and receive 20% off for Equal Pay Day! It’s only fair, right?
Plus, your participation will help us spread the word about the gender pay gap in our state!
