National Equal Pay Day is Tomorrow, April 4th
Equal Pay Day is chosen each year based on the day into the year women must work to catch up with men’s earnings from the previous year. To help “celebrate,” participating businesses and restaurants in Arkansas are charging women 80% of the cost of items and services (20% off) to reflect the fact that women earn 80% compared to men in our state.
We hope you will join us for Equal Pay Day by patronizing these businesses to (1) thank them for being advocates for equal pay, (2) help us bring about awareness to the gender pay gap, and (3) get the discount you deserve!
Participating businesses are listed below. To see details of the various discounts, business hours, and locations, please visit our website at https://arequalpay.org/equal-pay-day-2017/ or our Facebook event at https://www.facebook.com/events/268558853570486/.
